The Italian Box (hereinafter „The Italian Box“), as Data Controller, pays particular attention to the protection of personal data of its visitors users to the site www.theitalianbox.com.

In this case, the service providers will be selected from those who provide adequate guarantees, as provided for by art. 46 GDPR 679/16. Therefore, the processing will be carried out according to one of the modalities permitted by the current law, such as the adoption of Standard Clauses approved by the European Commission, the selection of subjects adhering to international programs for free circulation of data (e.g. EU-US Privacy Shield) or operating in countries considered safe by the European Commission.
The information systems and computer programs used by The Italian Box are configured in such a way to minimize the use of personal and identifying data; these data are processed only for the achievement of the specific purposes from time to time pursued; in any case, the criterion used to determine the retention period is based on compliance with the terms permitted by applicable laws and the principles of minimization of processing and rational management of archives.
Pursuant to articles 15 and ss. of the Rules, the user has the right to ask the The Italian Box at any time, access to their personal data, rectification or cancellation of the same, or to oppose their treatment pursuant to art. 21 of the GDPR. It also has the right to request the limitation of processing in the cases provided for by art. 18 of the GDPR, as well as obtaining, in a structured format, in common use and readable by automatic device, the data concerning it, in the cases provided for by art. 20 of the GDPR.
In any case, the user is always entitled to lodge a complaint with the competent Supervisory Authority (Guarantor for the protection of personal data), pursuant to art. 77 of the Regulations, if it considers that the processing of its data is contrary to the law in force.
